Ni Siap 红树皮染涩体验工作坊

看见十八丁Ni Siap 团队希望把红树皮的染涩可以发扬光大，文化传承，让大小朋友有机会认识红树的重要性、了解用红树皮染布和学习扎布的图案艺术。 通过扎、绑、染的过程，配搭晴朗的天空会有意想不到的惊喜，所以我们即将每个星期六 “开档” 让有兴趣体验的游客或朋友们可以走进炭窑区，参加Ni Siap 红树皮染涩体验工作坊。

In the 1950s and 60s, fishermen and loggers in Kuala Sepetang, formerly Port Weld, wore fishing attire dyed with Ni Siap, a mangrove bark extract that offered wind resistance and warmth. By the 1970s, this craft had nearly disappeared, and younger generations were unaware of it. The “Look, Port Weld” team is now working to revive and modernize this lost tradition.
