A performance inspired by the mangroves, memories and living heritage of Kuala Sepetang.

A piece of fabric.
A colour from the mangrove.
And stories passed down through generations.

From a traditional dyeing practice that had nearly disappeared,
Ni Siap is being rediscovered, relearned and reimagined today.

It is more than just dyeing fabric.
It is a journey of reconnecting people, place, memory and nature.
