Specially crafted wooden trophies and prizes

During the Movement Control Order period, I saw Sepetang hosted the 2nd Children's Drawing Competition in 2020, "Stay at home during the epidemic and draw a picture". The theme of the second competition was "Seeing the beautiful Sepetang and mangroves". Children were encouraged to pick up pens and paper and draw the characteristics of mangroves and Sepetang River or mangroves. The competition was divided into three groups: toddler group (4, 5, 6 years old), junior group (7, 8, 9 years old) and senior group (10, 11, 12 years old).

The competition ended on May 13th, and the children who won the 18th grade participated enthusiastically, and announced the results on the Facebook page of seeing the 18th graders in early June. I would like to thank the ferryman in particular and Art Space for their assistance in judging works.

The school resumed classes on July 22, and the organizer also held a simple award ceremony at the Sepetang Community Library last Sunday. Attendees included former Sepetang State Councilor Jolin Tsai, former village chief Huang Aixiang, etc.

The list of winners as follows:

I saw Chong Pai Chee, the chief coordinator of the Sepetang Division, congratulated every award-winning child. "We do not cherish the quality of the painting, because we believe that painting is about free and easy, and the meaning is not in whether the painting is beautiful or not, but to let the children paint what they see and shared their emotions for their hometown", she said.
