Community Arts Carnival
"Look! Port Weld" started a community art carnival in 2014 with an aim that through community education, the natural, cultural, geographical and historical cultural assets of Kuala Sepetang can be discovered, and its colors can be 'seen' by others, so that the fishing village can become more vivid, beautiful and wonderful, and make the villagers feel proud.
The purpose of the "Look! Port Weld" Community Art Carnival:
1. Accumulate Matang and Kuala Sepetang's natural, humanistic, geographical, historical and cultural assets, and make its colors 'visible';
2. Gather the power of community residents and stimulate their awareness and actions to preserve and maintain cultural assets;
3. Lead the children to participate in activities themed on the natural and cultural environment, and promote their understanding and care for their hometown through art and lively activities;
4. Conserve the ecological and cultural assets of Matang and Kuala Sepetang
