In August 2019 last year, I saw Sepetang invited a young ecological researcher, Dr. Guan Jieyao, to talk about the research and conservation of living fossil horseshoe crabs. After Jieyao's explanation, I realized that Sepetang mangrove forest have two common types of "Limulus": Limulus and Southern Limulus.
One of Sepetang’s eco-tourism attractions, the fish farm attracts tourists not only with puffer fish, but also with “horseshoe crabs”. Seeing Sepetang, I hope to design an exhibition board of "Limulus" so that tourists can further understand and understand horseshoe crabs, and protect horseshoe crabs.
"Look! Port Weld", thank you for operating the local cruise ship services with Kuala Sepetang Port Weld ECO With the sponsorship and cooperation, this exhibition board can be set up in the fish farm, which is an important starting point to promote ecological conservation. Sepetang Fishing Village is not only an eco-tourism attraction, but also an important park for natural ecology and environmental education, "Come on! Knowing and Conserving the "Horseshoes" exhibition board that symbolizes our seriousness in ecological conservation and sustainable management
We set up an Horseshocrab educational board at Sepetang Fishing Village, Malaysia for ecotourists. The board is sponsored by a local boat operator for ecotourism. it’s our small effort on Horseshoecrabs conservation .
